I need some help.

I want to write more in the Shades of Colour universe for the big bang at StargateLand. I really, really do, but I'm having problems getting a muse for it. If fact, my muse is working on my John/Cam AU 'verse I created for camshaft22 and while that's nice, I don't want it to be working right now.

Anyone know where I can get some school-ish related prompts without having to be part of a bingo com? I figure that if I can get that muse jump started too, I can work on both AU verses side by side.

Dang, I feel your pain. :< I am so not feeling my muse for my Big Bang fic, and it's got Sheppard! D: Anyhow, I would just suggest looking at fanfic100's user profile. They have their table up, and you can just skim it to see if anything fits. I also like prompt_in_a_box's old prompt entry, so people can pick up old ones they liked. There's also the hilarious CreativeWritingPrompts.com. XD I dunno if that's what you're looking for, but I hope it helps.

What I like about this big bang that I don't have to commit to writing a certain amount of words. I can write as much as the muse allows, then make some icons and banners to go along with it to make up for the rest of the points. :D

What is StargateLand??

stargateland is a Land community where members are divided into teams and participate in a series of challenges (fic, graphics, puzzles/games, vids) for points. This is Stargate based, but there a bunch of other Land coms for various fandoms as well.

I know. I was looking at communities with Mitchell and stumbled across this journal.
A friend told me if I love Sheppard, I might like to check out Mitchell and I have been watching Season 9 and 10 of SG1. I loved Pegasus Project when they were in it together.
I would have loved seeing them work together.
They are somewhat alike but Sheppard seems to have more edge to his character...
At least that is my opinion........from what I have seen to so far.

Yea, Sheppard is a bit of a darker character in that he's much more closed off than Mitchell.

One of my team mates at SGland had actually just mentioned yesterday how she wished there'd been more of a crossover between SG1 and Atlantis than simply Pegasus Project. There definitely could have been a lot more avenues explored between several characters.

I would have loved that. Sheppard is much darker than Mitchell which IMO would have made for interesting viewing had they done some crossovers of SG1 and SGA
I started a piece of ff where Sheppard goes TDY to Patrick AFB and runs into a major confrontation at the O Club.
Later they find the other officer dead and when they question Sheppard he has no alibi as he was out running when it happened..The beaches at Patrick are amazing.
Later Mitchell arrives because SGC wants someone there to handle it, not in terms of the legal part but all the rest.
Sheppard is confined in quarters so unable to do whatever.

I even have a working title and I started it when I saw Pegasus Project once because I figured they would do well together............different personalities but Mitchell is the perfect choice from SGC...He is someone who Sheppard would trust.
I was at Patrick AFB on joint duty so I can see it all clearly. I also sat on court martial boards when I was in the Navy....My experience was not AF but still same UCMJ and since this happens aboard the air base, it is definitely a federal problem, not local.
PLUS, we have SGC involved and all the stuff regarding classified information.
